In the year 2000, Dennis and Cindy Pryor saw their dream come to fruition as they completed the construction of an extravagant family residence. Their vision was to create a home that exuded the charm of the English countryside, a lavish abode fit for royalty. The journey towards this dream began several years prior to breaking ground on the property, with The Pryors' interior design firm embarking on a meticulous quest to source furnishings and artwork from across Europe.

This endeavor took approximately four to five years before the actual construction commenced. Once the project was underway, the Pryor family, including their son, had the privilege of residing in this grand 38,000 square foot estate for nearly a decade before deciding to sell the property.

The year 2014 marked a significant turning point for Dover Hall, as it transitioned from being a private residence to a venue exclusively designed for luxurious events. What makes this transformation intriguing is that the Pryors opted to leave behind a substantial portion, approximately 90%, of the estate's originally sourced furnishings. This decision resulted in a captivating juxtaposition of historical authenticity and character with the modern architectural design of the house.

In 2017, the management of Dover Hall was taken over by the Dover Hall Experiences team, who embarked on their own mission. Their vision was to curate an unparalleled guest experience by hosting unforgettable events and providing upscale lodging options. Since that transition, their team has successfully hosted a multitude of events, ranging from weddings to holiday parties - essentially, any occasion worthy of celebration has found a welcoming home at Dover Hall.
